This pack includes 94 pictures and word matching flashcards. All artwork are illustrated vectors, word cards are written in a large easy-to-read Arabic font. If your child loves to play and learn, these picture and word matching cards are a perfect sensorial activity. Giving plenty of practice to decode words with shaddah.
Also includes 4 revision cards and 75 individual letter flashcards to read each letter with shaddah. These are quick reference cards for your child to help aid their progress in reading the first words. Please refer the images in the product gallery.
I have also included a helpful character to be used as a prompt for your child to apply shaddah to the letter.
The Green Series Arabic Pack – Step 5 introduces the final concept needed to successfully read any given Arabic word. Here, your child will learn to read with shaddah. The shaddah is represented by a small ‘w – like’ symbol above the letter accompanied by a harakat or tanween marking.
Shaddah is to strengthen the letter by doubling it. So instead of the letter written twice, it is written once with a shaddah symbol. The first of the two letters is assumed with sukoon and the second is said with the vowel written above or below the shaddah symbol.
Green Series Sort and Match Flashcards is the final step in your child’s journey to read Arabic. They are meant to be used after mastering the Yellow, Pink, Blue, and Purple Series. Once your child has mastered the main mechanics of reading with the harakaat, tanween, madd, madd leen and sukoon. The next step is to read with shaddah. These flashcards give plenty of practice with reading with shaddah.
This flashcard set is a hands-on activity your child will love to use over and over again. Giving him/her plenty of practice to sort and match basic common words with their picture. Improving vocabulary and memory word-picture recognition skills.
